Process of
Counselling: -
For admission to postgraduate management programs at various
AICTE-approved universities in India, the National Testing Agency (NTA)
administers the CMAT (Common Management Admission Test). The following steps
are part of the CMAT counselling process:
·
Results
Announcement: NTA will release the CMAT results following the admission exam.
The test-passing candidates will receive calls for counseling.
·
Candidates
who passed the CMAT exam must register for counselling in order to participate
in the process. The registration procedure will be carried out online at the
relevant institution's official website.
·
Choice
Filling: Following registration, candidates must indicate their chosen colleges
and courses. They will have the choice to choose the college and course of
their choice, in that order.
·
Verification
of Documents: During the counseling procedure, candidates must bring their
original documents with them for verification. The mark sheet, transfer
certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and other papers are needed for
verification.
·
Payment of
Fees: The candidates must pay the counseling charge after the document
verification procedure. The cost may be paid electronically.
·
Seat
Allotment: The process of assigning seats will be based on the candidate's
rank, preference, and the number of seats available. The applicants who are
given a seat must pay the entrance fee within the designated time frame.
·
Reporting
to institution: Following the payment of the admission fee, the candidates must
report to the designated institution by the date and time provided. They must
have their acceptance letter, payment receipt, and any other required paperwork
with them.
In order to avoid any inconveniences throughout the counseling
procedure, it is crucial for the candidates to maintain track of the counseling
schedule and pay close attention to the instructions. It is crucial for
candidates to review the counselling process of the specific institution they
desire to apply to because the counselling process can differ depending on the
institution.
