Process of Counselling: -

For entrance to undergraduate and graduate programm in crafts and design, the India Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD) administers the IICD Entrance Examination. The counselling procedure starts when the IICDET results are announced. The steps in the IICDET counselling procedure are as follows:

·       Applicants who passed the IICDET exam must register online to participate in the counselling procedure. Filling out personal information, academic information, and course preferences are all required throughout the registration process.

·       Choice-making: Candidates must indicate their preferred colleges and courses after registering. Applicants can prioritise different colleges and courses by selecting them in that order.

·       Seat distribution: The college will assign seats to candidates based on their IICDET rank, preferred course and college, and the number of available seats.

·       Document verification: Candidates must report to the designated college for document verification after the seat allocation. The candidate must have both the original and photocopies of the necessary documentation.

·       Payment of the admission fee is required to confirm admission after the candidate's documents have been examined. Upon payment, the candidate will receive a letter of provisional admission.

·       Reporting to College: Applicants must arrive at the designated college on the designated date and time with the original documents and the letter of provisional admission.

·       ICDET counselling entails online registration, choice selection, seat assignment, document verification, admission confirmation, and reporting to the college. To ensure a smooth admissions process, applicants must carefully follow the procedure and carry all necessary documentation.
