Process of Counselling: -
·
Step 1:
Register for JEE Main Counseling: The first step for candidates is to register
on the JoSAA 2023 official website. Students must use their JEE Main
application form 2023 number and password to log in to the JoSAA candidate
portal. The candidates' information will be automatically collected from the
JEE Main 2023 database after a successful login. Before finishing the
registration, students must double-check all the information.
·
Step 2:
Filling up choices After registering, candidates must select an institute and
courses. The chances of admittance will increase if students choose as many
options as they can. Keep in mind that the JoSAA 2023 choice filling deadlines
must be met.
·
Step 3:
Mock seat allocation and choice locking: To help students understand their
chances of admission into the institutes, the authorities will also conduct two
simulated JEE Main 2023 seat allocations. The candidates will gain an
understanding of which seats can be assigned to them based on their preference
list thanks to the fake seat allocation process. After the simulated
allocation, candidates will also have the option to change their preferences.
·
Step 4:
Final seat distribution. There will be a total of six rounds of seat
distribution by JoSAA. The JoSAA seat allocation procedure will be carried out
in accordance with merit, category, predetermined preferences, and seat
availability. The JoSAA seat allocation will be made public online. The
provisional seat assignment letter and an e-challan to pay the seat acceptance
fee online will be available for download by all of the candidates who received
a seat.
