Process of
Counselling: -
The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the NEET-UG (National
Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate) as a nationwide entrance
examination for enrollment in undergraduate medical and dental program (MBBS, BDS)
at various colleges throughout India.
The following steps are part of the NEET-UG counselling process:
·
Applicants
who pass the NEET-UG exam must register online at the Medical Counselling
Committee's official website before beginning the counselling process (MCC).
·
Choice
Filling and Locking: Upon registration, candidates must fill in and lock their
preferred colleges and courses.
·
Seat
Allocation: The candidate's NEET-UG score, preferred colleges and courses, and
the number of available seats are taken into consideration during the seat
allocation procedure. A provisional admission letter will be given to
applicants to whom a seat has been assigned.
·
Verification
of Documents: Applicants who have been given a seat must go to the appropriate
reporting centre to have their documents checked. All necessary documents must
be carried by candidates in original form and as photocopies.
·
Acceptance
of Seat: Applicants who are offered a seat must confirm their acceptance within
the designated time frame and pay the entrance fee.
·
Applicants
who have accepted their seats must report to the institute on the designated
date and time for additional admissions procedures.
Candidates should maintain track of the counselling schedule and stay up
to date with any new information released by the NEET-UG organising committee.
To ensure a simple and hassle-free counselling session, candidates should also
have all necessary documentation and adhere to the counselling standards.
