Process of Counselling: -

Following the announcement of the UPESEAT results, the counselling process for UPESEAT (University of Petroleum & Energy Engineering Aptitude Test) typically starts in the months of June or July.

The steps in the UPESEAT counselling process are as follows:

·       Candidates who have passed the UPESEAT must first register for the counselling process by going to the UPES official website.

·       Filling out choices: Following successful registration, candidates must indicate their preferred colleges and courses. They have a variety of options to choose from.

·       Seat allocation: The seat allocation procedure is carried out based on the candidate's rank and the choices selected. The entrance test score, or rank, is the only factor taken into consideration when allocating seats.

·       Acceptance of seat: A candidate who is given a seat must accept it by paying the admission fee within the allotted time frame. The next person on the waiting list will be offered their seat if they don't accept it within the allotted time.

·       Candidates who have accepted the seat must report to the designated institute to complete the admissions process, which includes document verification. They must carry both the originals and photocopies of all required documentation.

·       Admission confirmation: The institute will confirm the candidate's admission after reviewing their supporting documentation and issuing an admission letter.

·       Counseling for candidates on the waitlist: If any seats remain open after the completion of the aforementioned procedure, the waitlisted candidates are contacted for counselling in the order of their rank.

·       The counselling procedure may vary slightly from year to year, so it's important to keep this in mind. Candidates are advised to visit the official website for the most recent news and details.
