Process of Counselling: -

For admission to the university's undergraduate and graduate design program, World University of Design administers the WUD-DAT (World University of Design Aptitude Test), a national level entrance test.

The following steps are part of the WUD-DAT counselling process:

·       Applicants who pass the WUD-DAT exam are shortlisted based on their exam performance and contacted for the counselling procedure.

·       Online Registration: Candidates who have been shortlisted must register online in order to participate in the counselling process. The submission of documentation and payment of the counselling charge are both part of the registration process.

·       Review of Portfolio: Candidates who have been shortlisted must submit their design portfolios. The portfolio ought to demonstrate their technical and creative abilities and provide some insight into their design-thinking process.

·       Those who have been selected for further consideration must attend for both a design aptitude test and a personal interview. While the personal interview evaluates the candidate's interpersonal and communication skills, the design aptitude test gauges the candidate's design aptitude and creative abilities.

·       Seat Allocation: The candidate's success in the WUD-DAT, design portfolio, Design Aptitude Test, and Personal Interview is taken into account when allocating seats. A provisional admission letter will be given to applicants to whom a seat has been assigned.

·       Verification of Documents: Applicants who have been given a seat must go to the appropriate reporting centre to have their documents checked. All necessary documents must be carried by candidates in original form and as photocopies.

·       Acceptance of Seat: Applicants who are offered a seat must confirm their acceptance within the designated time frame and pay the entrance fee.

·       Applicants who have accepted their seats must report to the institute on the designated date and time for additional admissions procedures.

It is crucial for applicants to follow the counselling schedule and be informed of any new details released by the WUD-DAT conducting authority. To ensure a simple and hassle-free counselling session, candidates should also have all necessary documentation and adhere to the counselling standards.
