To take admission in DU (Delhi University) candidates have to go through with CUET (Common University Entrance Test).
NEW DELHI: According to the Delhi University, all schools and departments, especially those serving underrepresented populations, would only accept applicants for undergraduate and graduate admissions this year via the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). In essence, this means that St. Stephen's College won't be able to hold interviews for new applicants, not even those who fall under the 50% reserved category.
The CUET score would be the sole rule/criteria for admission for the 2023–24 academic sessions, regardless of any category, according to DU registrar Vikas Gupta in an interview.
For students seeking admission to a variety of programs this year, the University of Delhi has made the Common University Entrance Test- Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2023 mandatory. The university has also made public the eligibility standards needed for enrollment in its undergraduate program. "The candidates must appear in CUET (UG) 2023 in order to seek admission to the Undergraduate programs of the University of Delhi for the academic year 2023–24," DU announced in a statement.
There is no upper age limit for students, and the admission exam eligibility requirements are the same as they were last year. Regardless of age, candidates must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent exam. Students are advised to visit cuet.samarth.ac.in, the exam's official website, for further information. Here, information on the information bulletin, exam paper syllabuses, and registration for CUET (UG) 2023 is mentioned.
For admission to Delhi University's undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs, the university previously had separate entrance exams. Delhi University started granting admission last year based on CUET UG results that were made public by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
